Terms & Conditions
General
Prices include VAT, where applicable. Delivery charges apply to certain products, as outlined here. All products are subject to availability. Goods are supplied for personal use only and are not to be sold or offered for re-sale.
We reserve the right to refuse to supply any person or company for any reason. We reserve the right to cancel an order for any reason. If we do, it will be at no cost to you. No contract exists until we have accepted payment.
Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your order before it has been dispatched, please contact us via email immediately, quoting your order number. Even if the goods have not been dispatched, you may be liable for the cost of delivery. If the item qualifies for free delivery, we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of £9.00 per bike and £3.00 per accessory.
Returns
If, for whatever reason, you are unhappy with the items you have purchased, you may return them. Please contact us, in writing or by email, within 14 days of receipt and we will supply a return address. Returned items must be received, unopened and in their original condition, along with the original purchase receipt and reason for dissatisfaction. We will refund the purchase price of the returned goods within 14 days of receipt. Delivery charges cannot be refunded, and you are responsible for the cost of delivery back to us.
FirstBIKE bikes do not come apart once the front fork and handlebar section has been fitted to the frame, therefore we cannot accept any returns on FirstBIKEs that have been assembled.
Damaged Goods
For bikes, a signature is required on delivery. If the box is badly damaged, you must either inform the courier, or do not accept the delivery. We cannot accept responsibility for damaged goods that have been signed for. For smaller items, please notify us within 7 days of receipt. We will supply a return address and instructions. For small damaged items, reasonable return postage costs will be reimbursed.
Guarantee
With a small amount of care, all our products will provide many years of good service. All products are sold with a full manufacturer's guarantee from date of purchase. This does not include damage arising from improper use, excessive force, lack of maintenance or normal wear and tear. Your statutory rights are not affected.
